We are pleased to offer Bespoke Wedding Dress design services for Brides who know they deserve

a one-of-a-kind wedding dress that represents their love story.

Our bespoke design process includes the following steps:

HOW TO SUBMIT AN INQUIRY

To submit an inquiry, you will first need to fill out our Bespoke Design Inquiry form. Once you fill out the form, you will have the option to book an in-person or virtual consultation. A personalized Client Portal will automatically be set up for you once you submit the form; your Client Portal will be where we communicate directly with you during the process of your gown’s production. There is a private dashboard with your photos, files, Service Agreements, and any information we need you to approve in the making of your gown. Any information that is sent to you will appear as an email and you will need to sign into your Client Portal to ensure your personal information is protected.

PRODUCTION TIMELINE

Our Bespoke Gown Timeline is 12-14 months depending upon the complexity of your design requests. Our designer will give you an estimated time of completion and update you should there be any changes to this timeline.
Please ensure you leave time for your gown to be completed when planning your wedding. Rush orders (Bespoke gowns completed within 4-8 months) are available on a limited basis, please use the CONTACT page to find out if your rush order can be accepted.

SKETCH

You will receive a digital sketch that will be colored to reflect the color of your choice.  Please note: color may not be exact due to different monitor/mobile device viewing resolutions. 

Please use the CONTACT form to request any changes you want made to be reflected in your sketch as well as submit any additional images for an accurate pricing quote.

***Turnaround time on your sketch*** 

You will receive your sketch within 7-10 BUSINESS days excluding US Holidays and weekends. You will receive your sketch via email in your client portal for final approval before we begin making your gown.

CONSULTATIONS

We offer in-person consultations for Brides who are local to our Hartford, CT studio or would prefer to travel. We also offer our Bespoke design services through select Retail Partners for in-person appointments and collection gown appointments. For non-local brides or brides who prefer the comfort of their own homes, we offer Virtual appointments and fittings that will be tailored to fit your busy schedule. Virtual Appointments & Fittings

During your private Virtual appointment, our designer will discuss the options available to you and begin a rough draft sketch to confirm your design idea. When you are ready to proceed, you will receive a link to pay for your sketch within your Client Portal which we will set up for you following your appointment OR prior to your appointment if you’ve indicated you are ready to proceed.

Once you’ve approved your sketch, you will receive our measurement form or you may book a follow-up fitting after your gown payment is made. If you choose to submit your measurements, please have a professional take your measurements. For our Bespoke Customers only, this is a complimentary virtual fitting where our designer will show you how to take your measurements and she will record them for you. You can ask a friend to assist if necessary.

In-Person Appointments & Fittings

For our Brides who request in-person appointments, during your private appointment, please submit an inquiry to confirm your design concept. We will send you a link to pay for your consultation and a few dates to choose from. You will receive the address and appointment preparation information once your payment is confirmed.

During your exclusive appointment, you will be treated to delicious treats and meet with our designer Dani Simone who will discuss the fabric and trim options available to you and begin a rough draft sketch to confirm your design concept. When you are ready to say Yes to your dress, you can either make your payment during your appointment or you will receive a link to pay for your sketch within your Client Portal after your appointment. You will also receive a completed front sketch of your gown within 7-10 days of your appointment for your approval.

Once you’ve approved your sketch, you will receive a link to make your payment if you haven’t already.

Your measurements will be taken at your first appointment. Please do not book your in-person appointment until you are ready to be fitted unless you intend to continue the process virtually.

PRODUCTION

Your gown will be made to the measurements you’ve submitted or had us record for you. We first start with creating and testing your personalized gown pattern, creating a muslin sample and once the design is approved/no changes are needed we begin the construction of your final gown.

Progress Updates

You will be updated on the progress of your gown every 4- 6 weeks. We will send at least one set of progress images on our closest-sized mannequin, if possible. Please note that gowns may not always fit mannequins properly which means your gown will look different on you. For the most accurate idea of how your gown will look on you, we suggest trying it on in person with the same undergarments you chose to wear when you were initially fitted.  

If there are any questions or issues we will be in touch via your Client Portal; please bookmark your Client Portal and mark our emails as safe and important.

Once your gown is completed we will ship it to you or contact you to set up your final fitting as noted above. Please confirm we have accurate contact information and mailing address for you.

APPOINTMENT & SKETCH FEES

Initial in-person appointments are $500 for a 90-minute appointment

Initial virtual appointments are $150 for a 90-minute appointment

Sketches are $275 and include 2 revisions
